1991 to 1992
Became a Mason in 1974 at James Husted in the 8th Manhattan District. He was Master in 1984 and DDGM in 1990. Was then elected as Vice President of the Metropolitan District Deputies. The Deputy association under took the starting of the Child ID Program and in 1991 Grand Master Ma' Wa' Richard Thomas appointed Ra' Wa' William Bontempts State Chairman for the Child ID Program. Initially the Child ID Program consisted of only videotaping. Ra' Wa' William Bontempts improved the videotaping process and developed a Training Program.
